I have chubby fingers and was able to handle the smaller width neck...it's true about that reverse octave string being on the top. Yes, indeed! The only problem that the Rickenbacker 12 strings does is it takes you away from all of your 6-strings (laughs). I couldn't/wouldn't play anything else for the 6 months I had it! LOL! Rather nostalgic really....
