actually Dean, i'm about to put some of your very fine strings on some of my new builds (two Les Pauls, a Junior, a Special, and a Something Else). I sure hope that at least one of them inspires me!

I have chubby fingers and was able to handle the smaller width neck...it's true about that reverse octave string being on the top. Yes, indeed! The only problem that the Rickenbacker 12 strings does is it takes you away from all of your 6-strings (laughs). I couldn't/wouldn't play anything else for the 6 months I had it! LOL! Rather nostalgic really....

well, i've got the SOS's on the Junior. Looks ordinary, but man this thing wails! VERY inspiring. And played with this amp ....Yowza! (Dean, it was modded by a late friend of yours).
