I heard some discussion on the Pro Analog Tour Box. What is this?

I am looking forward to trying out some Pro Analog stuff at Make N Music this weekend when I am in Chicago.

Some say it's marcellus's soul.

Some say it's the fountain of youth.

Still others believe it to be some sort of alien *** device..... :)

Thanks for the link and nice clips too. I think a Dual Drive will be on my short list this weekend... good stuff.

You were playing through a princeton on all of the clips? How did you have things mic'd?

The vids all used the cheap built-in condenser mic on my digital still camera on movie-mode, (Cannon A70). It's a bit noisy, but gives you a good feel for the room sound. The Dual-Drive was my first Pro-Analog pedal and the Dirt Royale is my latest. These little silver boxes can be quite addicting... ;)

cheers.

Hey guys, Scotty wanted me to let you know that Donner is in charge of the Tour Box for ProAnalog. He is a member here so you can PM him.

I was having a blast this afternoon playing my Grosh set-neck with Holmes through an early 60's Vox Cambridge Reverb, all tube 1x10 combo. I was driving the amp with my new Pro-Analog Boost Royale. I had the aux speaker out plugged into an open-back Celestion Blue. Wow! This rig was giving up serious crunch, gobs of sustain, and beautifull harmonic feedback. The B.R. may take up a permanent position next to the Vox.

Although it's only 15 watts, played through the old 10" in the amp plus my well broken-in Blue, the amp screamed! The Boost Royale took the amp completely over the top, while keeping the definition and avoiding any mud. Wow! I had to mellow out after 30-40 minutes before I fried my ears. The feedback was coming so easily and was so controllable, that I didn't want to stop! I'll have to bring along my plugs next time.

Isn't it great when a rig finally comes together. If it wasn't for the tour-box I may of never heard the Boost Royale. Thanks again Scotty!:D

Sorry for the "El' Snacho!" LOL... You know, Teddy ain't much for words, so his actions speak VOLUMES in terms of tone! :D
