I had it sitting on my kitchen table when BJ and the guys came over and everyone thought it was my new toaster :)
The thing is just silly good.

plain Jane black, but that's OK, because it matches this wonderful sounding cab perfectly.

Ya know, i love all the settings on this thing, but i would be happy with the amp if it had no "power suck", and nothing but the empty triangle focus switch.
- Perhaps a switch where beautiful dancing girls appeared during my solos.

How do the cleans compare with some of the Brunos you've played?

Lou,
First off, w/o the beautiful Bruno reverb (which i always had on) the MP will already be handicapped in a tonal comparison. In general i would say that the MP cleans, while really good for an amp that has high gain tones, aren't as 3D as the Brunos. It's hard to pin down exactly the differing qualities, as the MP tone can be so different according to where the voicing switch is, but the MP will not be able to get the quasi- BF shimmery sound that the Brunos excel at. The MP does a have a cool tweedy clean sound, AND a Voxy clean sound, both of which i really like. There are also Plexi and JTM 45 cleans, but i don't use them much. No reflection on the MP... I've had originals and i didn't use their cleans either!
An nice setup, for me, would be an CT AND a MP.
The MP has some things in common with the Guytron. The feel is similar, though i prefer the MP's, and the tone seems to be darker than most high gainers, which i found true of the Guytron also.
